Dear Pool Owners, how many rats, lizards, snakes, or other little critters have you discovered dead in your pool? It’s common for wildlife to mistakenly fall in a pool, or willingly go inside before realizing they can’t get back out. Drowning isn’t a good way to go no matter if you’re human or mouse.

Wildlife biologist Rich Mason received a call from his friends who kept finding dead frogs in their pool, 53 in total. This disturbing news set Mason’s wheels in motion, as he set about finding a way to invent a lifeline of sorts to help trapped animals and amphibians get out of pools. And so the FrogLog was born!

The FrogLog is a compact inflatable platform that floats atop the water and is attached to a weighted pouch that secures the log in place without any assembly on your behalf. It allows frogs and other critters to easily crawl or hop on top of the pouch and then safely get out of the pool.
